As the Director of Research and Development  of Southern Ocean Subsea Pty Ltd, Kelsey leads a skilled team of professionals in the underwater industry. With more than 7 years of experience in this role, has developed strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the company’s operations. 

With a background as an ROV pilot technician and diesel technician, Kelsey  possesses a solid foundation in mechanical and hydraulic systems, which are applied to optimize equipment and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, proficiency in CNC manufacturing and 3D modeling enables the design and implementation of innovative solutions tailored to client needs. 

SoSub is also proud to highlight the recognition of Kelsey as one of Tasmania’s Top 20 Young Entrepreneurs.

Andrew Ford is an industry leader with over three decades of experience in commercial diving, 20 years of leading the Dive Works team, and more than 10 years in the Offshore Oil & Gas sector. As the Founder and Managing Director of SoSub, he has become a highly sought-after ROV pilot and supervisor, known for delivering innovative subsea engineering solutions.

A true innovator, Andrew’s expertise spans all aspects of subsea engineering, allowing his team to maximize ROV capabilities, tackle complex technical challenges, and deliver creative, on-the-spot solutions. His leadership has led to the development of world-first ROV technologies, driving cost savings, and increased productivity for clients.

Jennifer Ford is the CEO of Southern Ocean Subsea, and the former Co-Founder and CEO of Dive Works Subsea Solutions, where she served for 18 years. With a successful career spanning customer service, banking, finance, and government, Jennifer has developed a strong foundation in business administration and leadership, driving strategic direction and corporate development for both organizations.

Jennifer is passionate about systems, compliance operations, service delivery, and the people within organizations. Over the past 20 years, she has built and led high-performing teams across Project Management, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Contract Management, HR, IT, and Marketing. Jennifer is at the forefront of all business management, client management, communication, and reporting, ensuring all teams deliver the highest service levels to clients.
